Buying, selling and trading items on Omen Arcade

The items you collect on Omen Arcade are yours: they sit in your inventory at your wallet's address, and you can sell them, buy more, or swap them with another player. This guide covers what each of those does to OMCADE, then how to do it.

What buying, selling and trading do to OMCADE

Marketplace sales move OMCADE from buyer to seller. Listings are priced in OMCADE and settle on-chain: when an item sells, the seller receives the OMCADE directly. Studios do not take a royalty on resales today. [MARKETPLACE FEE: to confirm from the marketplace contract before publishing.]

Trades cost a flat fee, paid to the platform. A peer-to-peer trade costs 100 OMCADE per item in the trade, on both sides. The player who proposes the trade pays it, or the two players split it 50/50. The fee goes on-chain to the platform treasury; no other OMCADE changes hands in a trade.

Nothing is burned. Marketplace OMCADE moves between players; trade fees move to the treasury.

Selling an item

1. Open Inventory and choose the item, then List for Sale. You can also start from Marketplace with List NFT.
2. Set the price in OMCADE and the listing duration, from 1 to 365 days.
3. Confirm. The item shows as Listed in your inventory, and you can follow it under your listings.

When it sells, the OMCADE arrives in your wallet.

Buying an item

1. Open Marketplace and browse Current Listings.
2. Choose an item and press Confirm Purchase.
3. The item moves to your inventory and the OMCADE moves to the seller.

If your balance is too low, the purchase is blocked until you add OMCADE to your wallet.

Trading with another player

A trade swaps items directly, with no price.

1. Open Trade and choose Create Trade.
2. Enter the other player's wallet address. They need an Omen Arcade account.
3. Pick what you give from Your Offer and what you want from Their Offer. Offer only, and it is a gift; ask only, and it is a request.
4. Choose who pays the fee: you, or split 50/50. Press Propose Trade.

While the offer is open, the items you offered are locked and show In Trade. The other player can accept or reject it under Trade Offers, you can cancel it at any time, and an unanswered offer expires after 7 days. On acceptance, both sides move at once.
